John Butch Emmett Tolin III

He worked for the Social Security Administration as a claims authorizer and retired after 28 years of service with the Federal Government. Butch loved thoroughbred race horses, a big sports enthusiast, and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Butch is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Ruth Ann Wright Tolin of Louann; three children, Theresa Tucker (Michael) of Colorado, William Joseph Patrick Adkins of Michigan, Lorianne Moreno of Tennessee; two brothers, Tim Tolin (Kaye) of Louann, Steve Tolin (Phala) of Smackover; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2017, at Young’s Chapel. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
