Joseph Daniel Pierce II

He was born October 5, 1968 in Marerro, LA to Joseph Daniel Pierce and Carolyn Ann Zarlington Pierce. Joseph was a United States Navy Veteran who served from 1986 to 1990 and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church where he worked in the youth ministry.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his wife Christy Anderson Pierce; his children, Madison Nicole Pierce of Houston, TX, Chandler Burton and Caitlyn Paige Burton both of Norphlet, Makaela Danielle Pierce and Haleigh Brooke Pierce both of Houston; a sister, Jennifer Ila Louise Peirce and Brother and Sister, Darrin and Alicia Anderson of Norphlet; his 2nd parents, Eddie and Patricia Anderson; nieces and nephews, Sarah Jo Pierce, Campbell Joy Slaughter of Calion, Brian Martinez of Houston and Jarrod Anderson of Norphlet.

He was a strong man whose , only weakness were his five children.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Revs. Steve Pelz and Larry Hudson officiating. Cremation services were handled by Young’s Funeral Directors.

Family will be at 404 North Texas in Norphlet.

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Baptist Boys Ranch in Harrison, AR.
