Kathryn Lori Simmons passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023 in Nashville, TN. She was born August 28, 1988 in El Dorado, AR to Graydon “Tom” and Kathy Simmons. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Lawson, Arkansas and Olive Tree Connections in Madison, Tennessee. She graduated from El Dorado High School in 2006 and attended college at Union University in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Lori loved Jesus with all her heart and was never afraid to tell her story to others. She dreamed of becoming a nurse like her aunt Kyra so she also could help people in need. Her heart was the only thing bigger than her personality.
Preceding her in death are her grandparents, Graydon and Margie Simmons and Gene and Clydus Jerry; aunts, Kyra Smith and Shirley Simmons; and cousin, Stacy Slater. Those left to cherish her memories are her parents; brother, Kris Simmons (Kristi); and nephews, Cody and Jake Simmons along with a multitude of friends and family who dearly loved her. She will forever be remembered as a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, niece, granddaughter, cousin, and friend.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Young's.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2023 in Young's Chapel with Bro. Jason Yarbrough officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery with Bro. Ronnie Robbins officiating, under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
