Louise C. Dumas

She was born December 29, 1923, to Ruben Harper Couch and Roma Hill Couch. She worked in sales at West and Van Atkins Department Stores and was a member of Marrable Hill Chapel.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband of almost 26 years, Henry W. Dumas, Jr.; son, William Earl Dumas; and five brothers, Alfred, Winfred, Jerry Lynn, Alton, and Richard Couch.

Survivors include her son, Gary Dumas (Debbi) of El Dorado; three grandchildren, Jason Dumas (Wendy) of El Dorado, Sarah Fuller (John) of Celina, TX, Joshua Dumas of El Dorado, six great grandchildren, Will, Austin and Noah Dumas, Jake, Jonah and Judson Fuller; brother, Charles Couch (Margaret) of Crosby, TX; three sisters, Helen Murphy of Lisbon, Ruth Wells (Bob) of El Dorado, Lois Bolts (Johnny) of Donaldson, AR; daughter-in-law, Beverly Dumas Mello of Junction City, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016, at Young’s.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2016, at Young’s Chapel with Bro. Ben Wasson officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
