She was originally from Clyde TX, where she met her husband, Lee Stewart “Jack” Hodge, whom she married in Carlsbad New Mexico and remained married to for 51 years until his death. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Axillary and was the president of Post 10. She and her husband were honored to be asked to join the elite American Legion 40 & 8 where she also became State President. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, and worked as an accountant clerk at Warner Brown Sisters of Mercy Hospital. She also worked for Dr. Duzan and at Smackover Drilling in accounting for a short time. She loved her rose gardens and admiring red birds.
She is survived by a son, Lee J Hodge, and his wife, Angela.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Young’s Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be Sunday at 2:00 at Lisbon United Methodist Cemetery with Bro. Charles Perry officiating.
