Mary graduated high school in 1939 at the young age of 16. She was an avid reader, gardner, and crossword puzzle expert.
She is preceded in death by her parents, A.W. Hostetler and Ida Maddry Hostetler; and her loving husband, Elvie A. Nesbitt.
Survivors include her three children, Melinda Narbona of Houston, TX, Bill Nesbitt of Little Rock, AR, Mary Rella Garrison of Blytheville, SC; sisters Ernestine Alexander and Vera Edens, both of Hot Springs, AR; and six grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Sycamore Grove Church of Christ Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. Douglas Wills officiating. Visitation will be at Young’s from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
