He worked as an operator for BP Amoco in Texas City, TX for 30 years, was a member of the Local 4-449, and enjoyed restoring Willie Jeeps. After retirement, he and his wife traveled the United States.
Preceding him in death are his parents; two sisters, Nanette Bussey, Sharon Diane Griffith, and his wife, Sammie Bradley Murray.
Survivors include his son, Shawn Murray (Rochelle) of League City, TX; daughter, Raechel Page (Craig) of Atlanta, GA; sister, Glenda Woolsey (Marion) of El Dorado; and seven grandchildren, Jaxon, Hudson, Kearson, Madison Murray, Emilie, Joseph, Erin Page.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Young’s Funeral Directors.
