Millard Fulton "Jack" Nelson

Jack was a member of Jack Mayfield Memorial Methodist. He retired as a forestry technician for Manville.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ruth Anderson and Faye Hudson; brother, Hilton Nelson.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Marie Williams Nelson of Huttig, AR; sons Jackie Nelson (Cheryl) of Benton, LA and Billy Nelson (Kathy) of Lumberton, TX; daughter, Carol Sue Palma (Jim) of Hooks, TX; grandsons, Jonathan Nelson of Austin, TX, Dr. Kirk Nelson of Boutte, LA, Sgt Nate Nelson USMC of Qauntico, VA, Sam Nelson of Lumberton, TX, Dr. J.J. Palma of Dallas, TX, and Rev. Grant Palma of Fort Worth, TX; sisters, Helen Williams of El Dorado, AR and Betty Dunn of Huttig, AR; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday April 24, 2012 at Jack Mayfield Memorial Methodist Church.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday April 25, 2012 at Jack Mayfield Memorial Methodist with Rev. Robert Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Old Lapile Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
