Nyoka Fay Braswell

Nyoka Fay Braswell, 70, died Saturday, November 24, 2012 at John R. Williams Hospice House. She was born August 27, 1942 in Union County, AR to Langford “Blackie” Williams and Ella Faye Warren Williams.

Mrs. Braswell was a homemaker and she retired from High Capacity after 27 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Steve Williams.

Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Billy Braswell of Homer, LA; son, Michael Todd Braswell (Macy) of Magnolia, AR; two daughters, Connie Faye Rodgers (Dewey) of El Dorado and Dana Mills (Russell) of Homer, LA; sister, Debra Williams of Monroe, LA; four grandchildren, Chey Blanchard (Nancy) of Homer, LA, Grace Braswell, Genna Braswell, and Gillian Braswell all of Magnolia, AR; two aunts, Martha Lynn Wood of El Dorado, and Joyce Mayo of Baton Rouge, LA; and black lab companion, Max.

Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Young’s Chapel with Bro. Bob Inmon officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery at Mt. Holly under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held at 6:00 to 8:00p.m. Monday, November 26, 2012 at Young’s.
