

She was the daughter of Edwin Martin and Ella Marie Luschen. She was born in Great Bend, Kansas on September 23, 1936. She moved with the family to southern Illinois and southern Indiana before moving to El Dorado in 1942.
She attended the old High Goodwin School for eight years. From there she went to ninth grade at the new El Dorado Junior High and on to El Dorado High School. She was a 1954 graduate.
She was a homemaker and member of Parkview Baptist Church. She and the boys attended Marrable Hill Chapel and were blessed to sit under the teaching and preaching of Rev. Sam Shepperson for nine years. After graduating from El Dorado High School she worked for ten years at Lion Oil Company in the downtown office. She was an avid reader and loved cooking, sewing, needlework and growing many kinds of plants. She loved family vacations with her husband and the boys when they were growing up.
She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-three years, George Neldus Beasley; her parents; a son Stephen Mark Beasley; her brother Ronnie Martin Luschen and sisters Carole Bridges, Melinda Yates and Jeanne Hinton.
She is survived by a son George Michael Beasley and sister Mary Courley of League City, Texas; sister-in-law Lavonia Griffin of Little Rock and a number of nieces and nephews who were dear to her heart.
She names her faith in Almighty God, her family and wonderful friends through the years that sustained her.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 10, 2024 at Young's Funeral Directors.
A graveside service will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, the 11th, at Arlington Memorial Cemetery with Bro. J.D. Weido officiating under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
