She was a member of Airline Baptist Church in Bossier City and was a homemaker.
Preceding her in death are her parents; son, David Thomas Smith; husband, James M. Smith; and sisters, Carol Nan Berry and Sarah Hays Morrow.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Stephen Smith (Lynda) of Lake Jackson, TX; brother, William C. Berry (Mary) of Sykesville, MD; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2024 at Strong Cemetery. A graveside service immediately following under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors and with William Smith officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe, LA.
