Robert Wayne Stallings

Born on December 1, 1950, in El Dorado, AR; he was the son of Dean Lee Stallings and Erma Jewell Voss Stallings. Robert had worked for Great Lakes Chemical and was a member of the First Christian Church. He attended Southern Arkansas University, and served in the United States Air Force for four and a half years. Robert was a Boy Scout leader and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Robert was preceded in death by his father and brother Earnest Charles Stallings.

Survivors are his mother, Erma Voss Stallings; a sister, Paula J. McAdams; and a niece, Amanda Marie McAdams Renfro (Jim); great niece, Sara Jane Renfro; great nephew, J Renfro; all of El Dorado, AR a host of cousins; and aunt, Ruth Leroux, of Little Rock.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 24, 2014, at the First Christian Church with Rev. Tom Whitworth and Rev. Bill Odom officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

The family will receive friends at Young’s Funeral Directors Thursday from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
