Ron Libengood

Born on May 7, 1946 in McKeesport, PA; he was the son of William and Helen Beaver Libengood. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in El Dorado. Ron attended Morehead University in Morehead, KY and Harrisburg Area Community College in Harrisburg, PA. Ron enjoyed antiques, fishing, photography and woodworking. He was co-owner of The Calico Tree in Ephrata, PA. Ron enjoyed meeting new people and keeping up with old friends. While in Lancaster, PA he had worked at Mill Bridge Village where he portrayed an Amish Blacksmith. He was preceded in death by his parents

Survivors are his wife of 41 years Barbara Jo Vance Libengood of El Dorado; sisters Deena (Richard) Kugler of North Huntington, PA, Randi Garrison of Franklin, PA, and Jana (John) Kelly of St Petersburg, FL; a dear friend Ken Miller of West Valley City, UT; along with several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating Ron’s life will be at 10 am, Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 422 East 28th Street, El Dorado, AR with Bishop Scott Watkins and Ken Miller officiating. Cremation services were provided by Young’s Funeral Directors.
