Ruth O. Bishop

She was a member of the El Dorado Church of God Church and was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death are her parents; sister, Betty Robinson; and grandson, Justin Choate.

Survivors include her three daughters, Mary Nelson, Lisa Gurrieri (Johnny) both of Bryant, AR, Beverly Acklin of Sherwood, AR; sister, Lettie Sandifer, of El Dorado; two Brothers, Jimmy Lewis, Harold Lewis both of El Dorado; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Cruz, Amanda Choate, Justin Burney, Lacey Malloree and husband Jonathan Malloree, who she loved as her own grandson, Brandy Sweatt, Cody Guzzo, Christi Choate, Kellie Kemp; seven great grandchildren, Cayden Canfield, Xander Cruz, Brianna Malloree, Josh Malloree, Cameron Sweatt, Duncan Choate, Jenipher Kemp; and lots of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at the El Dorado Church of God Church on Parnell Rd.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017, at the El Dorado Church of God Church on Parnell Rd. with Bro. Eric Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at Jolley Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
