

Samuel Aaron Beasley, 61, of El Dorado, passed away February 7, 2024 at South Arkansas Regional Medical Center. Sam, the son of Charles Vernon Beasley Sr. and Mary Lee Carr Beasley, was born January 23, 1963. He was predeceased by his mother Mary Lee.
Sam, who was a resident of The Moore Home, was educated in El Dorado Public Schools. He was active in Special Olympics and won several medals. In childhood Sam was baptized at Parkview Baptist Church. Sam was currently an active member of Southside Baptist Church and participated in Mark William’s Sunday School class.
Sam worked at Benchmark Industries and later at Champagnolle Landing when he was able.
Sam’s hobbies included collecting aluminum cans, finding coins, and helping his Mama clear his family’s land. Sam was a very loving man and always wanted to help others. Even after death Sam continued to care by donating his tissues to Arora Regional Organ Recovery Agency.
Those who survive Sam include his father, Charles V. Beasley, Sr., brothers Charles (Chuck) Beasley, Jr. and Thomas B. Beasley of El Dorado, his aunt Julia Carr Ober of El Dorado and his uncle Ashley Carr, Jr., of Palm Springs, California, his McAvoy cousins of Louisiana, and his very special cousin Matthew Pizer of El Dorado.
Sam’s Memorial Service will be on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Southside Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. preceded by visitation at the church at 1:30 p.m., Reverend Michael Collins officiating, Kathy McManus pianist. Cremation services are entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.

Sam’s family extends their love and gratitude to The Moore Home and to all his caregivers including Crystal Malone, Dorothy, Josie, Tara, Tanisha, Jeff, and everyone who loved him.
