Sandra Sanders

Sandra Sanders, 77, of El Dorado AR. passed away May 12, 2014 at her residence. Sandra was born in El Dorado to Helen Virginia and J.W. Sanders. She was a lifelong resident and a member of the First Presbyterian church. The church, its choir, and classes were a central part of Sandra’s life. She was active in the Presbyterian Women’s circle #4. Until her retirement, she was employed by the South Arkansas Developmental Center, formerly Bozeman Park School. She had a special place in her heart for each child.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jacquelyn Griffin. Survivors are her sister, Becky Rea, and her husband, Ken of Ruston, LA; brother-in-law Phillip Griffin of Georgetown, TX; nephew Chris Rea and his wife, Leah, and their daughter, Emma, and nephew Michael Rea of Shreveport, LA.

Funeral services for Sandra will be held at First Presbyterian Church at 2:00 pm on May 20, 2014. Officiating will be the Reverend Patrick Fleming. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
