

She was a graduate of Detroit High School, Paris Junior college and attended North Texas University. She received a B.A. and M.A. from Henderson State University. She taught school a year and a half in Texas, 3 years at Old Union School and 34 years at Hugh Goodwin Elementary School.
She was a long-time member of First Christian Church and First Baptist Church. She was an active member of the Ruth Sunday school class and enjoyed the Prime Timers and the Prime Timers Choir. She was a retired teacher, a charter member of Alpha Phi chapter of Delta kappa Gamma and a member of Union Medical Auxiliary.
Her parents, Luther and Stella Morgan; brother, Harry W. Morgan; and husband, Byron Kinard predeceased her.
She is survived by her children, Larry Kinard (Nancy Rae) of El Dorado, Donna Kay Williams (Charlie) of Dickson, TX; four grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday, November 28, 2014 in Young’s Chapel, followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Brian Trostle officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
