Sherry Lee Andrews

Sherry Lee Andrews, 76, of El Dorado, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016, at Chi St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock. She was born February 4, 1940, in Huttig, AR, the daughter of Robert and Inez Fullerton.

She was a graduate of Huttig High School and was employed as an X-Ray Technician. She was a member of Hickory Grove Chapel, volunteered with Chemo Angels at CARTI and LifeTouch Hospice, and an active member of the Silver Kickers. Sherry worked at the Children’s Clinic until it closed and retired from AHEC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles W. “Buddy” Andrews, brother, Robert L. Fullerton, and sister, Nancy Joy Matthews.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Charles W. “Buddy” Andrews (Lance) of Yemassee, South Carolina, Kim Bauman (Joey) of El Dorado, and Scott Andrews of San Jose, CA; two grandchildren, Dustin Bauman (Heather) of Conway and Lane Atwell (Jake) of Maumelle; and two step-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Young’s.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016, in Young’s Chapel with Rev. Delmas Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Old Lapile Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
