Thresa Colvin Butterfield

Thresa was a retired high school English and Speech teacher and Counselor at Norphlet, Arkansas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from SAU and her Master's degree from Louisiana Tech. Thresa was a member of the Norphlet Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband John Butterfield and brother Franklin Colvin.

Survived by a son, Scott Butterfield (Tina) of Norphlet, AR; daughters, Sharon Crenshaw (Scot) of Searcy, AR and Laura Adams (Don) of Bartlett, TN; brothers Lathaniel Colvin and Ollis Colvin; sister Clydean Bradley; grandchildren, Christie Galusha (Clarke), Amber Butterfield, Sarah Cearley (Kyle), Brandon Butterfield, Nick Crenshaw, Morgan Crenshaw and Jordan Crenshaw (Laken); great-grandchildren, Jasper and Alder Galusha, Dakota, Leila and Cole Pumphrey, Alex Butterfield and Ellie Crenshaw.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 am Monday, July 3, 2023 at Young’s Funeral Directors.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, July 3, 2023 at Young’s Chapel with Bro. David Bailey officiating and a private burial under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
