Victoria Aliece Miller

Born in Bakersfield, CA, to Jack Shinpoch and Billie (Gibson) Shinpoch, she was the eldest of their four children.

Vicki loved to read, spend time with her family, and listen to music, especially Stevie Nicks. She was a life-long admirer and student of Native-American history and practiced her own form of Native-American spirituality. She had a deep raspy voice, an easy giggle, and enjoyed herself everywhere she went.

Preceding Vicki in death is her father, Jack Shinpoch, and her sister, Janet Hinson.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Billie Shinpoch; two siblings, Billy Jack Shinpoch (Patty) and Scott Shinpoch (Donna); two children, Spencer Purinton (Jennifer) and Rachel Rhodes; eight grandchildren, Jeremiah Purinton (Maddie), Jacob Purinton (Wendy), Sarah House (Skyler), Tana Purinton, Jackson Purinton, Nicholas Rhodes, Veronica Luce, Kelan Bright; and two precious great-grandchildren, Jordan Rhodes and Birdie House. She also leaves her nieces and other extended family members who loved her dearly.

The family plans to hold a private celebration of life.

Memorials may be made in Vicki’s name to Union County Animal Protection Society (UCAPS).
