

Born on October 5, 1931 in Rowell, AR; she was the daughter of Dan 'Dick' Thomas and Rachael Stark Thomas. Virginia was a homemaker and before retiring worked at Woolco. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Virginia loved painting and most of all caring for her family.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Dick Thomas Jr. and Morris Thomas, and her husband Cecil W. Lowery.
Survivors are her sons David Lowery of Maumelle, AR, Ray Lowery, and John (Terry) Lowery all of El Dorado; daughter Terri Lowery Hall of El Dorado; a sister Hallette Hanry of El Dorado; along with 8 grandchildren; Devin Lowery (Miriam), Justin Lowery (Brandi), Wesley Lowery (Melissa), J.D. Lowery (Jennifer), Rebecca Fife (Josh), Magan Hall, Katelyn Glass (Chris) and Hunter Hall; 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 25, 2015 in the chapel of Young's Funeral Directors with Rev. Larry Hudson officiating. Interment will follow at Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm.
