

Born January 19, 1931 in Norphlet he was the son of Willie Walker and Ruby Pearl Roberts Goodwin.
Mr. Goodwin was the owner of Engine and Electric Service Co. He was 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Masonic Lodge in Norphlet and a Shriner. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Norphlet and spent many hours enjoying fishing.
Preceding him in death along with his parents, his wife Margie Ruth Layfield Goodwin, a son, Billy Max Goodwin and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Cecelia Boatman (Sam) and Margie Priddy (Gene) all of Norphlet. Surviving grandchildren are Amber Evins (Jason) of Fayetteville, AR, Whitney Boatman of Tulsa, OK, Steven Wade Miller of Tucker, AR and Matthew Broach of Little Rock along with great-grandchildren, Walker, Spencer and Presley Evins and Bradley Broach and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Norphlet with Rev. Doug Wills officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday evening at Young’s.
