William H. Wong

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of El Dorado. He was co-owner of Chas Louis Laundry. William enjoyed fishing, watching old movies and was a U.S. history buff.

Preceding him in death are his parents; grandparents, Sam and Huie Shee Wong; uncle, Jim Wong; and brother-in-law, Gene Yee.

Survivors include his wife, Kit Ying Wong; son, George A. Wong; daughter, Julie Wong; granddaughter, Jazmin Wong all of El Dorado; brothers and sisters, Jo An Yee of Dallas, TX, Kenneth Wong (Cindy) of Palmdale, CA, Mary Ann McMurry (Richard) of El Dorado, Eugene Wong (Lily) of Brooklyn, NY, and Susan Wong of El Dorado; nieces and nephews, Cyndi Gabrillo (Ed) of Dallas, TX, Mike Yee (Cathy) of Dallas, TX, Suzi Browning (Joe) of Columbus, OH, Jon Yee (Sara) of Dallas, TX, Allen Wong of San Diego, CA, Cathey Wong of San Diego, Kayla Wong of Palmdale, CA, Johnny Wong of Brooklyn, NY, and Albert Wong of Brooklyn, NY; great nieces and nephews, Caitlin, Matthew, and Jessica Gabrillo, and Olivia and Weston Yee; and numerous number of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2015, at Young’s Chapel with Rev. Garland Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
