

He is survived by his wife of six years, Leslie Swilley Leach; his children, Allie (Leach) Hammett and husband Jordan of Junction City, AR, Hailey-Rae (Leach) Ellis and husband Nick of Ponca City, OK and Bentley Kirk Leach of El Dorado, AR; three grandchildren, Dawson Hammett, Braylie Ford, and Kenzlie Ford of Junction City, AR; two brothers, Billy Shane Leach of Little Rock, AR and Marty Ryan Leach and wife Angel of Tontitown, AR; a sister-in-law Heather Swilley Burden of Hot Springs, AR, a brother-in-law Zachary Ryan Brumlee of El Dorado, AR; aunt, Jackye Swilley and husband Randy; uncle, Bud Cross and wife Sherry; step-father, Roger Williams of Hot Springs, AR; and many nieces and nephews and cousins that he loved.
Yancy was preceded in death by his father, Billy Roy Leach of Texas City, TX; mother, Kathy Kay Cross Williams of Hot Springs, AR; stepfather, Eddie Cogburn of Smackover, AR; maternal grandparents, Jack Walter and Mary Alice Cross of Norphlet, AR; aunt, Lucretia (Cissy) Cross of Norphlet, AR; paternal grandparents, Thomas Clarence (T.C.) and Sadie Mae Braswell Leach of Marysville, AR; uncle Tommy Lee Leach and Aunt Ronda Gail Dugal of Marysville AR.
Yancy's favorite Bible verses were Matthew 9:12 and Romans 5:8-9.
He loved Jesus and Johnny Cash. He enjoyed playing the guitar and when he was younger, Yancy was quite the basketball player at Parker's Chapel. He also loved to bow hunt and help his dad make custom recurve bows. Yancy will be missed by so many who loved him.
He will be laid to rest at Rehobeth Cemetery, El Dorado, AR.
An intimate family graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations be made in Yancy's name to Rehobeth Cemetery in the care of Ronnie Goodwin, 5104 N. Wyatt Drive, El Dorado, AR 71730 or to Leslie.
