Adrian's life was one of pure love, joy and goodness. He fiercely loved his family - his wife Liz, children Vianne and Adrian ("Little Adrian"), and his beloved granddaughter, Kathleen. Adrian is also survived by his loving mothers Rosa Orozco and Belinda Macias, brother Elias and sisters Rachel and Yolanda.
Adrian had many loving nieces and nephews and was especially devoted to his nephews Rudy and Christian.
Adrian had a long and distinguished career as an officer of the U.S. Customs and Border Enforcement agency, stationed in Laredo, Texas. Among other tasks, he worked to prevent dangerous and illegal drugs and weapons from entering the country. Earlier in his life, at the start of the Iran/Iraq war Adrian volunteered for military duty and served with honor in the U.S. Army. He received an Honorable Discharge and was very proud to be a veteran of his country.
Adrian had many loves - doing and following sports, amusement parks, BBQing and, of course, spending time with family. Although a lifetime Texas resident, "his" basketball team was the Los Angeles Lakers. And nothing brought him more joy than attending little Adrian's basketball games! His son was a star basketball player in high school about whom was written: "he left nothing on the floor." He was equally proud of Vianne who was a Registered Nurse in Obstetrics helping to bring babies into this world.
Adrian was a man of deep faith. He and Liz had been longtime members of the Grace Bible Church in Laredo, a congregation that always filled them with love and hope and will continue to support the family.
Adrian filled a room with laughter, a sense of humor and love. He will be missed by the many who were touched by his kindness. We will never forget you dear Adrian. You will forever reside in our memories and in our hearts.
Adrian left us much too soon. We take much comfort knowing that he is in the arms of the Almighty God.
