Alfredo Garcia

June 17, 1929 – March 7, 2025

Alfredo Garcia, beloved brother, uncle, godfather, and friend passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025, at the age of 95. He was born in El Paso, Texas.

Alfredo was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas where he attended school. At a young age he began working for the Zales Corporation in downtown El Paso and at Cielo Vista Mall. He eventually retired from Zales after many, many years of service.

Alfredo was preceded in death by his mother, Manuela Garcia; sister, Yolanda Johansen; brothers, Hector Garcia and Danny Garcia, Sr.; cousins, Lilia Dorado; Eva Garcia; Benito Garcia; Enrique Garcia; nephew, Javier Johansen; brother-in-law, Manuel Campa; brother-in-law, Bill Johansen.

He is survived by his sister, Emma Campa; sister-in-law, Concepcion Garcia; niece, Norma Armijo; niece, Natalie Campa; nephew, Cesar Campa; niece/goddaughter, Patricia Schillinger (Kenneth), nephew, John Saenz, Jr. (Suzanne); nephews, Danny Garcia, Jr.; Tony Garcia (Isabel); Michael Garcia (Veronica); niece, Debbie Johansen; nephews, Arthur Johansen; Harold Johansen; and Christopher Johansen; grand-nephew/godson, Dennis Wick, III; grand-nieces, Lauryn Campa; Lissete Johansen; grand-nephews, Jacob Garcia; Aaron Garcia; Kevin Schillinger; Jaden Johansen; great grand niece, Skyler Wick; great, grand nephew, Brayden Garcia.

Rosary service will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Funeraria del Angel Hillcrest West, 5054 Doniphan, El Paso, Texas 79932 at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza Rd. El Paso, Texas 79907 on Friday, 14, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.
