Barbara "Bobbi" Ruth Cohen

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend Bobbi Cohen, 75, passed away April 28, 2015. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to El Paso where she and Sid raised their family and lived their lives. She is preceded in death by her husband Sid Cohen, and son Greg Cohen, as well as her parents Florence Gold Freedenthal, and Moe Gold.

Bobbi, was an outgoing, loving person; affectionately known as “The Peddler,” or “Tupperware Lady”. A natural leader, courageous, and always caring about and for others she was also active in her community. Her family always came first to Bobbi, but she held her friendships close to her heart and always kept in touch.

Left with cherished memories of her are, son Neil Cohen (Joy), daughter Joy Booth (Greg), her brothers Larry Gold (Robin), Steve Gold (Caryn), grandchildren Amanda Booth, Gabrielle Cohen, and Gregory Cohen, nieces Marla Gold, Dawn Lee, Michelle Bartolozzi, and nephews Michael and Brian Gold.

Special thanks to Dr. Kenny Eisenberg and his staff. Graveside services will be held on Friday May 1st 11:00 A.M. at Bnai Zion, officiating Rabbi Stephen Leon.
