Mrs. Aube Barton, I just got back into town and heard about your loss. I just wanted you know that you and the family (John) are in my prayers. You made such a beautiful couple...you looked so happy. I am very sorry to hear of your husband's untimely passing. May you find comfort and strength in the beauty and warmth of the memories you created together and in the certainty that you will see him again some day. My prayers and thoughts are with you and yours.

Benny was one of the true "good guys" in life. For all of us that were honored to know him he will be remembered for his kindness and humor. Michelle-he was so excited to have met you and share life with you. He talked about you often with love and tenderness.  My condolences to all the Barton family.

My sympathies to Michelle and the whole family. Benny was my flight instructor and I enjoyed very much having him as my instructor and flying with him. He was an example of a kind and gentlemen person to look up to as a leader. Benny, you will be missed very much. May the Lord have you in his presence.

I am just so stunned to hear of Benny's passing.  I met Benny when I was in college at UTEP and he was in Phi Tau Fraternity and I was a Chi O and was in the little sister group of Phi Tau.  He was always a gentleman and lots of fun to be around especially when he would start telling stories about the "hillside gaianthers", whatever that was.  My condolences to his wife, brother, father and his extended family as well.  I wish I could be at the memorial service, but will be there in spirit with his other friends and with his family during this difficult time. Benny's love of flying has served him well, as he wings his way to heaven.  He will be well remembered.
