Bertha "Birdie" Candelaria

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Bertha (Birdie) Candelaria Ramirez. She entered God's eternal kingdoms on 10 April 2026, just 3 days after her 79th birthday. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. She is reunited in heaven with her parents, Francisco Ramirez and Maria Del Refugio Ramirez Pacheco, her brothers Roman, Evaristo, and Francisco Ramirez, her loving husband Jose Candelaria, and her grandson Jose Virgilio Candelaria (JV). Birdie was small in statue, but the she was overflowing with love for her family, friends, and all furry, feathered, and scaled creatures. The love she gave was only equal to love she received from those who knew her, loved her, and will miss her. She is survived by her 3 children, Rachel, Paul, and Yvonne Candelaria, her grandchildren Lisa, Corrin, Paul (Brandon), James, Ayla, her great grandchildren Jasmine, Sarah, Arianna, Hailey, and baby Autumn, as well as other siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Service will be held on 23 April 2026, from 5-9 pm at Martin Funeral Home East. Located at 1460 George Dieter Dr 79936. Rosary will begin at 6pm, with a small reception afterwards.
