Bertha E. Jacobo

Bertha E. Jacobo, 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Bertha was born in El Paso, TX. She attended Loretto Academy and was a proud member of the Bowie HS Majorette Team, class of 1953. Her hobbies included crafting, reading, sewing and watching her Lifetime movies. She and our dad enjoyed their Las Vegas trips with all their Bowie friends. She retired in 2000 from YISD where she worked at Del-Norte Heights Elementary for 25 years in the front office and as a home liaison.

Bertha is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Salvador Jacobo, Sr. She is survived by her sons Salvador Jacobo, Jr., Fernando Jacobo, her daughter Debra Ronquillo (George) and her only granddaughter, Cynthia Jacobo.

A visitation for Bertha will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A rosary will occur Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 7:00 PM, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 11:30 AM at San Antonio De Padua Catholic Church, 503 Hunter Dr, El Paso, Texas 79915. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906.
