

Betty Jean Treviño went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4th, 2018 after a long battle with dementia. She was surrounded by her loving family. Betty Jean Treviño was born October 30, 1953 in El Paso, Texas where she spent her 64 years. Married to Pedro Treviño for 44 wonderful years, devoted mother to Korrina (Jesus) and Krystal, loving grandmother to Alexis, Katelynn, Jessica, Daniel, and Kaylee Jean. Retired from YISD as a school bus driver after 18 years of service which she loved. She is preceded in death by her mother Margaret ann Recovo, best friend Norma Hernandez Buell, in-laws Horacio and Herminia Trevino, and beloved Mary Lou and Rafael Pichado. Survived by husband Pedro, daughters Korrina and Krystal, grandchildren Alexis, Katelynn, Jessica, Daniel, and Katelee Jean, Gilbert Treviño and family, Gloria Ahmed and family, Becky Cazares and son, Pichardo from California, Richard and Vanessa Recovo, Carol Moreno and family, brothers, David and Danny Recovo, and extended family members. Special thank you to Global Hospice and staff. Visitation will be held Friday, February 9th from 5pm to 9pm with a Vigil at 7pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will take place Saturday, February 10th at St. Raphael Catholic Church at 9:30am. Internment will be private. Services entrusted to Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina, 915-598-3332.
