Corina, my condolences to you and all of your family. There are no words to say that will comfort you or your family. But know that something I will always remember of Carlos is his smile...that smile that is very contagious. Always willing to help,,,like you...both you always caring for others...and I thank you for that because it taught me to be more humble to everyone. If there is something I can do for you please let me know. God bless Corina...Louie Mendoza from Navy FCU and family

I will forever remember Carlos as one of the most kind hearted, most dedicated and loving persons I will ever know. My memories of him calling me "mija" and "china doll" with the utmost gentleness will always be etched in my memory. I pray the entire family will take comfort in knowing so many people respect and admire Carlos for so many reasons. Farewell my friend. Semper-Fidelis.

I am from the Irvin class of 1965, and was a 4 year Marine after that. For him to serve the Corps for 30 years, I offer my highest respects. As a grandfather I can feel the love in the family pictures.

A tragic and devastating loss! Taken way too soon! He was a strong but gentle soul! We were honored to serve him, he became close just by the way he treated us, always smiling, cordial and respectful. He was extremely friendly and caring. We are thankful for his service to our country! Deep Hearfelt Condolences to the family!
