Carmen D. Munoz

Maria del Carmen Darancou de Muñoz age 91, died peacefully at home on February 4, 2026. Carmen was born on October 7, 2034, in Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico. She was raised by her beloved mother Julia Cedillo. She was known for her skills as a seamstress, cake decorator, and apartment manager. She retired at the ripe age of 89. She never quit. Carmen was happily married to the love of her life Armando Luis Muñoz, for 43 years, until his passing in 2014.

Carmen is survived by her two daughters Cynthia and Carmen, and her three grandchildren Alexis, Laura, and Adrian, and many beautiful and loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends.

She loved spending time with her family and friends, and was blessed to have had the opportunity to travel to many places in her lifetime. She had a bright and energetic personality and had the ability to make friends wherever she was. She was always

opening her heart when she felt someone needed help, a shoulder to cry on, or to just be there to listen. She touched many lives with her personality.

Carmen was very grateful for all the people that came into and were part of her life!!!
