Carolynne Bull of El Paso was called home to heaven July 10, 2025. She was born in Greenock, Scotland, on April 18, 1944. She graduated from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, where she studied French and Business Administration. She met the love of her life, Alex, in Tripoli when she worked for Mobil Oil and he was a U.S. Marine working as a guard at the embassy. They wed August 25, 1973, in New Bern, North Carolina. They lived many places during their marriage while Alex was in the service. When Alex retired, they made El Paso their home. Carolynne worked as a proofreader extraordinaire at Keith & Miller Certified Court Reporters and retired after 20 years. Carolynne is survived by her loving husband and best buddy, Alex; her sister, Dorothy Kirk of Greenock, Scotland; and her sister-in-law, Julia Kleinschmidt of Utah. Carolynne is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jessie Kirk.
