It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cindy Salcido age 49. Cindy departed this world on January 7, 2025, embraced by the eternal love of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, providing her strength, guidance, and hope in all she did leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
Born on November 30, 1975, Cindy lived a life full of adventure, love and service. A dedicated professional in the medical field and a professor at El Paso Community College, she touched countless lives with her expertise, empathy, and unwavering commitment to helping others. Her colleagues admired her passion, while her patients were comforted by her care.
Cindy had a personality as vibrant as the brightest rainbow. She was known for her sense of humor, boundless energy, and a silliness that brought light to every room she entered. Whether she was sharing a funny story, dancing to her favorite music, or cracking jokes, her laughter was contagious.
Cindy Salcido is survived by her husband, Jesus Gamon, her children, Crystal and Emily and is now resting in peace with her son David in heaven. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Izaiah, Dominic (Jakobe), Lexi, Allie Paz and Alexander Rodriguez; her parents, Margarita and Rogelio; her grandparents, Concha and Esperanza, and beloved bonus children, Jesse, Jonathan, Jacob and Victoria as well as extended family and countless friends who were touched by her love and laughter.
Though she is no longer with us in person, Cindy’s legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched, the laughter she inspired, and the love she shared. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Funeral service will be 2:00pm - 5:00pm Friday, January 17, 2025 at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer Street, El Paso, Texas 79904.
