

Daniel Paul Sullivan 57, a lifelong resident of El Paso, TX passed away peacefully on December 14, 2011. Dan was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Jane Sullivan. Dan Sullivan “Popper” will be dearly missed by his sons Sam, Jesse, Danny and his companion Cathy Devenport. Survivors include his brothers David (Barb), Larry (Carol), Pat (Debra) and his sisters Nancy Mosel, Carol Sullivan, Kathy (Fred) Zitzmann, Jan (Rick) Bostwick, and Peggy (Mike) Mauck. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Dan spent the last 24 years at Chevron and Western Refining as an operator and later as Safety Manager. Prior years he owned and operated a Chevron station on Dyer. Dan was an avid golfer and talented musician, gifts he passed on to his sons. He was an irresistible charmer and his sense of humor touched all. Those he met quickly became friends for life. The Dallas Cowboys will be missing one of their biggest fans. We will all miss him. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December, 18, 2011 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home West. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Cathedral, 1118 N. Mesa, El Paso, TX 79904. In honor of Dan, donations can be made to Rio Grande Cancer Foundation, 10460 Vista del Sol, El Paso, TX 79925. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
