Della Joyce Bray

She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Lee Bray of 51 years, parents Joe and Alma Finley, and her three brothers, David, Phil, and Bennie Finley, and has one living brother, Barry Finley. She is survived by her three children; Buddy Bray (Lee Ann), Vivian Lang (Donnie), and Jolie Anderson (Jerry), 7 grandchildren; Katie, Candis, Charles, Jordan, Jennifer, Ryan, and Steven, and 18 great grandchildren.

Born March 5, 1936, Joyce was the 1st of 5 children, and only daughter of Joe and Alma Finley of Deming, NM. Known as “Mimi” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. she was at the center of the many celebrations, as all the families would gather to enjoy Sunday dinners, birthdays, and holidays.

She was devoted to a 33-year long career of serving the communities of Lordsburg, San Miguel, and Anthony as a postal employee and postmaster. Her hobbies included shopping, gardening, bug and gun collecting, rock hunting, and reading,

Joyce will be missed and remembered for her legacies of love, compassion, and generosity. She often said “I love God and I love people, and I love to make people laugh and smile”.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 11:00 am at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West, 5054 Doniphan Dr. Burial will follow at Anthony Community Cemetery.
