Dearest Diana,

Five years gone, but never forgotten.  We still miss your laugh, your incredible cooking, and the way you always showed up for the people you loved.  You were the heart of so many moments - funny, strong and steady.  Your love for family lives on in all of us.  Miss you.

Dearest Diana,
I can't believe it's been 4 years since you left us.  Seems like only yesterday.  We just had a family reunion in KS and EVERYONE was there.  You would have been so happy to see this, as you were always all about family.  You were on our minds and in our hearts.  Your kids are thriving and have beautiful families.  Your grandchildren are so adorable and sweet and are such a blessing to this family.  You would be so proud.  The years we had with you will always be more memorable than the years you've been gone.  We love and miss you.

I never knew Diana but she was part of my Rocket family. I wish to convey my deepest condolences to her friends and especially her family. I recently lost my brother and know that feeling of loss and regret that I wish I could have spent more time with him. By her description, I can see Diana was a real Spitfire of a woman. I would have appreciated having her as a sister. She was my Rocket sister. I hope that everyone can heal after her demise. It will be hard getting over her because the best ones always are. Please accept my condolences to your entire family at this time. 

There are so many memories I have of Diana.  She always treated me like family especially at times I needed support the most. I’ll never forget her. One memory that stands out most to me is actually kind of funny. I used to spend many weekends at the Moreno household and Diana or Efren would drive me home.  One night Diana decided to let me drive home out of no where. We stopped at a gas station and switched seats. That was the very first time I had ever driven a car. 
Without Diana I wouldn’t have met one of my best friends, Bianca, and been welcomed into her home to create relationships that will last forever.  Thank you Diana for letting me be apart of that! 

My heart is so heavy to see this today. This world lost a beautiful soul. My thoughts and prayers are with your children and family Diana. I know you were tired and ready to go home to Jesus. Rest in paradise twinsie.... In my heart always. 

Diana welcomed everyone in her home. I remember going over to the Moreno home in high school and no matter what time of day or what she had going on, she would try to feed me. Everyone of her kid's friends were a part of the family. My high school self could eat quite a bit, which surprised most my friends moms. She always took this as a challenge and made sure I was full. She was a loving and support person and will be missed by all.

I met Diana back when we were attending the SCI North Campus back in 2016.  She was studying for Medical Assistant and I for Medical Billing and Coding.  Even though Diana was a little quiet and shy at first, she became a good friend in the short time I got to know her especially when we shared stories about Hawaii (where I'm originally from.)  I will always remember Diana as one of the kindest and most humble people I've ever met.   My sincerest condolences to her family.   She's gone too soon but Heaven has gained a wonderful angel. I had the joy of knowing Diana after befriending her son, Alex. When I got to meet her and the rest of the Morenos, she welcomed me with open arms and treated me as part of the family. She was just as welcoming with the rest of Alex's friends, and was even gracious enough to let us use her basement as a band room for a few years. After we would finish making a terrible racket for hours on end, she would still invite us all back the next day for even more. I'll always remember her as "Mama Moreno," for the way she treated us all as her own kids. My deepest condolences to the entire Moreno and Correa family; Diana will be sorely missed.

Diana had a heart of gold and was always welcoming folks into her home, for meals, fun, fellowship or even to live for a time.  She was a wonderful hostess and an amazing cook!  She welcomed strangers and family alike.  She was always gracious to my extended family when we gathered for Christmas or other events.  My daughters and I lived with her and her family for 3 months while in transition to our move to Texas.  We were welcomed with open arms.  I will always cherish the time we lived in Sycamore with them and were able to see her on a regular basis.  Our family will love you forever, Diana, and you will live in our hearts always.  

I will always remember My aunt Diana as the cool fun loving person I knew her to be.  I will always cherish the memories of when she would give me great advice when I’d confide in her of my troubles.  I loved how we would both loved that we were both Pisces and we always bonded over that.  For these memories and more, Miss Diana will be missed dearly.  Thank you for allowing me to share!

Diana is also survived by her brother Jesus "Chuy" Correa, his spouse Kristi, their children Jacob, Taylor and Callie; her brother Alfonso Correa and his spouse Robyn; her brother Daniel Correa, his spouse Christine and their daughters Lindsey and Morgan; and Diana's sister Blanca Soliz, and her children Johnny, and Kiana.


She is preceded in death by her parents Alfonso Correa in February 2011 and Dolores Correa in May 2020.
