Doris Elizabeth Fleming passed away peacefully October 17, 2012 at her home after a brief illness. Irma Sierra Leon, her best friend, companion and guardian angel for the last eleven years was at her side. Doris was born April 18, 1917 in Waxahachie Texas the daughter of O. L. and Ruthie Howard. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 60 years Jack Fleming. Doris is survived by her son Jim Fleming of Canutillo Texas, daughter Carol Smith and her husband Larry of Plano Texas, granddaughter Adria Smith of Plano Texas, sister Ruth Beloate and her husband Gene, of Bedford, Texas.
Graveside Services will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest along side of her husband Jack.Funeral arrangements entrusted to Harding-Orr & McDaniel Funeral Home 320 Montana Avenue. www.FunerariaDelAngelHarding.com
