I love you mom till the end of the universe


I don't know for sure, I would have to verify with mom & Jacky, but I believe it was probably the spring or summer of 1977 when our friendship began. And it wasn't love at 1st sight...LOL. My very 1st memory of Eden....well, my 1st two (they could have been the same day, just two different memories) But for sure, the 1st two encounters with her. The 1st one was in the old deli, where the Y saloon was, across from the movie theater. It had black and white checkered floors...little old style deli tables and chairs, the deli counter with a glass top..  Jacky was working and Eden was bored out of her skull waiting for Jacky's shift to end- She went to work with Jacky because they had also just moved to town, and....I'm pretty sure Eden had never been to a baby sitter- EVER.  ❤️ Anyways, I just remember Eden being so bored. And I was very shy. Almost too shy. Eden came up to the table and sat and talked, but mostly we just looked at each other, kind of giving each other looks...lol evaluating each other...like little kids do 😂 then 2nd, is Eden and I sitting out side my house on the side facing the firehall, by the water spicket fighting about her name. I was sure she didn't know her own name...because EDEN?? EDEN?? WHO WAS GOING TO NAME SOMEONE EDEN? WHAT IS THAT EVEN? 😂🤣 LMAO ( This story is significant because MY YOUNGEST DAUGHTERS NAME IS EDEN 🥰) funny thing, for those of you that don't know,  my middle name is Brooke. And my whole childhood, I was sure my parents hated me for giving me that name. I hated it! Hated it...LOL. I guess we really do change and grow. My oldest daughters name is Brooke and my youngest daughters name is Eden. & Yes, we call her Eden Green, always have🤗

She loved to plan outfits and matching earrings . This is us last summer at the Luke Bryan concert . So full of life 💕Ran into another Cali Chico Chick in Dallas at the concert  - Lori Tahsler.  I don’t think I can ever go to a  country concert again without my Eden.

When we reconnected when I moved from CA to TX. The left picture is 2018 and the right was her last visit up to see me in Dallas, October 2022. So much had happened between these 2 photos but our friendship and love for one another became so strong - so glad you forced us to do this Eden! 10 tries later we got a pic you approved 😉💕

Where we started …roomies in Chico , California. Such college cuties . 

Our last concert on October 8th, 2022. In Arlington , TX at Globe Life Field. We were so excited to see Morgan Wallen.  I will never be able to listen to him, Luke Bryan or our girl Miranda without thinking of you and how much it hurts missing you Eden . 💔

We had so many laughs and so many great hugs 🤗 Eden had the best smile and was always lighting up a room no matter what she was going through. We had so many more plans 💔

Wishing the family peace and strength not only during this holiday season but throughout the journey grief will bring. A beautiful mother, woman, and soul Eden was. 

When we lose someone we love we must learn not to live without them but to live with the love they left behind. I will always remember her beautiful smile and big heart. She left three beautiful children as her legacy. My condolences to them and the whole family.

Eden was my sweet cool friend that was two years older than me and in my PE class! I met her the year before as an 8th grader at a new FRHS. She had a great group of friends that I met and we were all k scantly sister friends; Eden, Jody, Joanna, and Cindy. They were my people, my girlfriends that loved me and didn’t care about where I came from. I traveled with Eden on basketball trips where she made fun of me stopping the bus to have to go pee and whipping myself with possible poison oak because it was dark. She was always laughing with everyone and enjoying life. We connected in college when she came back to Burney for a bit and we partied as old friends. We connected again when we both lived in LA and had the best time hanging out in Manhattan beach. It felt like home to us here! Our jam for sure. We picked up like we were country girls hanging out in FR! She was always so kind and generous in her friendship! Again we connected after I saw her on Facebook and I wondered if she was sick. She was quiet about herself and big on her life  for her family and friends. We had the best chat as always. Her focus of importance of family, friends and thankfulness for life. So Eden! I will also not forget that she was in my typing class in high school and she typed like 180+ WPM! The school was like WTH? So awesome! Eden..I love you! You were a kind, generous and wonderful friend! You were so gorgeous inside and out that I didn’t think you would think I was cool. But all that  didn’t matter to you ever. I feel blessed to know you and call you a FR sister friend. Kisses and hugs to you always. You must be in the best place ever! Love you! Mary Ann Busby (Canright) I married your Bud Matt! 

Me deepest condolences to Eden’s beautiful family. She was such a beautiful friend. I was so fortunate to know her and her sweet family while we lived in El Paso. I loved that we kept in touch even after we moved away. 
So blessed to have had the chance to be her friend ❤️ Sending love and light to all that love her too ❤️

Eden- I can't believe you are gone. You were always the brightest light in the room. I miss you my friend! This is a photo of us in our late 20s in LA. 

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. Eden was a vibrant, loving, and amazing woman. I have so many fun memories of our times living in Los Angeles, we were so young and carefree then. And I know how much she loved her family and being a mom, it was her everything! I'm so sorry for your loss, I hold you all in my heart. My deepest sympathies for your loss. 

I don’t know Eden well, but she was warm and her smile infectious. My deepest condolences to her friends and family 🙏🏽❤️

I will cherish our time together, and our last day in Vegas sunning, laughing, sharing stories, memories and dreams... I love you. 

I remember Eden when I first visited the dental offices she worked in Beverly Hills, Ca.  She was a breath of fresh air and had none herself. 
She was always quick to smile and tell a joke or laugh at one.  Down-to-earth was how I described her. And so beautiful  inside and out. 

I always counted her a friend, even though when she married and moved to Texas, I never saw her again. But we did share FB and Instagram posts and she was always there with a smile. 

I will miss her presence in this world. And my deepest condolences to her husband, her children, and her friends.  May her next journey be gentle and filled with love and laughter.  RIP, my dear friend.

Story to hear this. I did not have the privilege of personally known her but know friends of hers that are devastated by her loss. Prayers are with her family and friends.

Funny memory: this was a concert of old groups. NKOTB was there, and she kept saying, “I just with Justin Timberlake would’ve been there.” On the way home we realized she got NKOTB and NSync confused. 🤣 she was way too cool as a teenager to listen tk NKOTB.

California visit with Eden, David and the children in March 2022. 

I knew Eden in High School. She was super positive, sweet, and had an amazing spirit even back then. My heart and deepest condolences goes out to her husband, children, parents, and friends. May she rest in paradise.

I was a friend of  her mom and knew her when she was a little girl.   Life showed up and I lost track of them but,  thanks to social media I found them and was not surprised by what a beautiful lady she was.  It was not hard to see that she was an awesome mom with her posts about her family.  I was shocked and saddened when I heard of her passing and I am so sorry.  Heaven welcomed a beautiful angel on that day.❤️


There are way too many memories to remember…. My last memories are spending last weekend with her in Chico 31 years of friendships. Loved her like a sister. - I will never forget Eden💕 Prayers to David their beautiful children an Jackie 🙏🏾😢 you will be so missed my friend but never forgotten. I love you Eden
