Edmundo Olivas

Edmundo Olivas, 58, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2015. He was a longtime El Paso, TX, resident and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was the quiet, thoughtful, proud, and loving patriarch of his family, a dedicated worker, and always a reliable and willing helper. He is survived by all those wishing to cherish memories of times spent together with him including: his wife, Maria de los Angeles; his three children, Sylvia Luevano (John), Edmundo Jr., and Melissa Mikmoh (Michael); five grandchildren, John Paul, Marissa, Jocelyn, Maya, and Monica; his mother, Isidra; his brothers, Santiago, Manuel, Tomas, and Armando; and many more family and friends. Edmundo will always be in our thoughts, hearts, and prayers. May he rest in heaven with our Lord. Visitation will be held from 5-9pm on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Kastor-Maxon & Futrell Funeral Home 4716 Hondo Pass Dr. with Vigil service at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 8:30am on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery with Navy Veteran Honors. Services are entrusted to Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 N. Carolina 598-3332.
