Elfido Coss

Elfido Coss Sr., 84, passed away on October 4, 2014 after battling Alzheimer's disease for several years. He was born to Micaela Manriquez and Esiquio Coss on October 21, 1929. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 52 years, Celia Ordonez Coss and his brothers, Ismael and Eulalio and sister, Chepa Vargas. Surviving children are Maria Teresa Marquez, Jose Salvador Coss, Elfido Coss Jr., Esteban Coss, Elsa Coutino, Martin Coss and Esperanza West. Surviving brothers are Billy, Polo and Kiko and sister, Lupe Silva as well as 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and extended family. After his retirement, he loved growing vegetables and cultivating his land. He loved to sing and dance with anyone who joined him. He loved to be referred to as "Jefe or Chief". He will forever be remembered and loved in our hearts. A special thanks to Lolita's Place Foster Home and Robert Rojo. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 10:00 am at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
