Elisa C. Rodriguez

Elisa C. Rodriguez, 94, passed away on February 14, 2017 in El Paso, Texas where she was born and raised. She was born to Juan and Dolores (Regalado) Carbajal. Elisa was an excellent seamstress and was known for making beautiful dresses for her daughters. Family was very important to our beloved grandmother who loved to have her family spend Friday nights in her patio that her husband had built for her. She devoted her life to caring for her parents, daughters, and husband of over 60 years; Ramiro Rodriguez. Elisa is survived by her daughters: Amelia Lopez, Elisa R. Vallejo, Cecilia Rodriguez, Margaret Clonts and Patricia Najera, brother: John F. Carbajal, sister: Carol Franco Hoover, 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers: Joe Lopez, Jr., Rene Vallejo, Daniel Vallejo, Terrance Turner, Sam Corey and Alfredo Frayre. Honorary Pallbearers: John F. Carbajal, Gilbert Carbajal, Johnny Carbajal, Ron Hoover, Joe Lopez, Sr., Rick Najera and Art Erivez. Visitation: 5-9 p.m., Monday, February 20, 2017 at Hillcrest Funeral Home with Vigil/Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Williamette. Interment: Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 Carolina, 598-3332.
