Our beloved Emma M. Flores, 84 passed away on April 6, 2016, 2016. She was the last descendant of the first family of Antonio O. and Juanita G. Flores, founders of Tony’s Place. She graduated from Austin High School. Emma was a proficient & highly respected Medical Transcriber in the El Paso Medical Community having worked for Drs. Joe Freeman, Saul Gonzalez, Hotel Dieu, & WBAMC. Survived by life partner & companion, Addie M. Haverfield, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters: Alice Andrews, Delia Villasenor, Lila F. Duran, and brother: Leopoldo Flores. Visitation Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 5-9pm with vigil at 7pm at Hillcrest. Funeral Mass Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 10am at St. Raphael, 2301 Zanzibar. Services under the direction of Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina, 598-3332.
