Enrique "Kiki" Quintana

Enrique “Kiki” Quintana, born on March 26, 1928, was called by our Heavenly Father on September 26 after a lengthy illness. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A devout Catholic, Kiki loved to practice his faith attending mass daily until his health weakened. He attended Guardian Angel Elementary School and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1948. In 1951, he married the love of his life Elena Perea. He retired after many years of working as a produce manager for Safeway and Furr’s Supermarkets. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing at family gatherings, dancing and listening to opera. He is survived by his loving wife Elena, daughter Rosie Rodriguez (Sal), sons Charles Quintana and Henry Quintana Jr. (Lulu), granddaughters Maritza J. Quintana, Amanda Gomez and Laura Rodriguez, grandson Henry Quintana III, great-grandsons Nathan Rodriguez, Noah Gomez and Alexander Gomez and great-granddaughter Judeanna Quintana, along with many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Sylvia Navarro for her dedicated care. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 1:00 pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
