Eugene Michael Mason

Eugene M. Mason, “Buddy” peacefully died on February 23, 2023, at the age of 91. He was a resident of El Paso, TX. He was in the Army for 20 years. He got a Master’s degree in Linguistics at UTEP. He also worked for the federal government & was actively involved with Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church for over 30 years. Loved ones who were preceded by the deceased are wife of 33 years Angela (Lanza) Mason. Father, Eugene M. Mason & Eileen A. Mason, sister Patricia Howe. He leaves daughter Irma Mason of Kyle, TX; brother Lawrence Mason and his wife Mary of Richmond, VA. Sister-in-laws Madeline L’Ecuyer & Barbara Lanza both of Leominster, MA. Also leaves many nieces & nephews. Viewing is Wednesday, March 8, 2023 4-8pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N Carolina Dr., with a Rosary beginning at 6:30pm. Funeral Mass March 9, 2023 at 8:30 am at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 10000 Pheasant Rd., followed by burial at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 10:00am with Father Michael Lewis. There will be a Reception at Father Thomas Hall located at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church beginning at 11:30am. En lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Knights of Columbus organization with Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in El Paso, TX
