Eugene Vasquez, retired navy veteran passed away on January 19, 2024 at the age of 88 in El Paso, Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents Higinio and Rosalia Vasquez and his sisters Rosalia Neil and Maria Concepcion (Connie) Anchondo. Eugene is survived by his wife of 65 years Elida Vasquez and his daughter Judy L. Tagle (James) and grandson Joshua Tagle.
His siblings Maria Teresa Vasquez, and Roberto Vasquez. Eugene and Elida treasured wonderful times spent with family and friends. He was a humble man, appreciated the outdoors and spending time having breakfast and enjoyed historical movies with his grandson.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesdsay, February 21, 2024 at 11:30 am at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church followed by the inurnment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1:00 pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
