Faustino Sarabia

Faustino "Billy" Sarabia, 89, died Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 at Monte Vista Nursing Home with his children by his side. Billy was born in El Paso Texas, the son of Patricio and Abundia Sarabia. He graduated from El Paso High School earning Valedictorian for his class. He proudfully served his Country in the Army Air Force during World War II. He went to earn an associates degree in Stenography where he worked at the El Paso County courthouse. He would find a career with the US Immigration Service where he would retire with honors after 29 years.

Billy was husband of the late Gloria Lucero Sarabia. He was the proud father of his late daughter Abundia "Bonnie" Marcks, Estella Kern (Scott), Grace Sarabia, and Ray Sarabia (Carmen), grandfather to Elizabeth, Jose, Faustino Manuel, Mario, Gloria, Lisa, Laura, Michelle, Janessa, Yvette, Manny, Cassandra, Ryan and Zachary. He was also Grandfather to 35 great grandchildren. He was brother to Maria, Bertha, Virginia, Jesus Patricio, Gonzalo, Tony, Frank and the late Jose, Raymundo, Tim, Andres, Cristina, Angelina, and Theresa.

Pall bearers will be his grandsons Jose "Guero" Bonilla, Tino Bonilla, Mario Bonilla, Manny Chavez, Ryan Sarabia and Zachary Sarabia.

All relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family Wednesday, September 7th from 5-9pm with Rosary at 7pm at Martin Funeral Home West at 128 N Resler Dr.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 8th at 11am at Martin Funeral Home West. Interment will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1pm.
