Farewell Papa, you will be missed; you will never be alone

Francisco Macias Sr. “Kiko”, has been called by our Heavenly Father. He died peacefully with loved ones by his side. Francisco was born in McNary Texas and grew up in El Paso, Texas. Francisco was a strong man and came across as a no nonsense man, but at the same time he had a big heart. At the age of 42 he owned an Automotive shop “Macias Automotive” at 3901 Alameda and was in business from November 1979 until he sold the shop in March 2003. He was a hardworking man and in consideration of his familys' humble beginnings, and having started working at a very young age to work to help his family, Kiko and his family were pleased with the modest accomplishments achieved. He would often have his younger brothers help at the shop and they enjoyed being with their older brother. Kiko enjoyed playing golf and had many friends from his days operating his Automotive shop and playing golf that would often visit him at the shop. His friends and family had a high regard for “Kiko” and respected him.

His mother Elena Macias and father Gonzalo Macias Sr. were both born in Mexico, and migrated to the United States early in their marriage. Both passed in 1994. He cherished his mother and his father for their hard work in bringing up 10 children. He often said that his Mother, Elena Macias was the only person who genuinely loved him, however there are many of us who loved him the same, and will miss him.

He was the second oldest of 10 children. Kiko is survived by his sister and brothers; Elena, Armando, Rodolfo, Rogelio and Eduardo, and children; Yolanda, Francisco Jr., Leticia, Gabriella, Adrian, Rita, Charlie, Irma, Omar, Laura, Valeria, Gilberto, Corina, Rachael, Frank and over 30 nieces/nephews, 20 grandchildren/great grandchildren.
