Frank Theodore Karl was born in Chicago, IL in 1942. He was 82 years old. A devoted Father to Frank, Michael, and Andrew. He is survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he went to work for American Airlines and retired after 35 years.
As a little boy, he enjoyed fishing in Lake Michigan and ice fishing in Wisconsin. As his family grew so did his fishing crew. There were many stories about "the one that got away" but also so many family fish fries enjoyed by all.
He enjoyed cooking his Mother's Polish and German recipes-from homemade polish kielbasa, which was a family affair for Chirstmas, to later frying up to 70 Chile Rellenos at a time for Sunday family dinners.
His latest past time was maintaining an impeccable lawn and a garden with vegetables and flowers. He enjoyed his patio under the shade of a gigantic mulberry tree.
Frank was generous to many charities focusing on missionary orders and Boys Town. Rest in Peace, Dearest Frank, we will miss you.
Visitation for Frank will be Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 12 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn 8817 Dyer El Paso, Texas 79904.
